I'm not sure. Reuptake inhibition is presumed by many to be global and without localization. I'm not so sure about that, though. I think there may be regional differences at which these drugs exert their effects.

I think most serotonergic drugs have antianxiety properties. Cymbalta is pretty potently serotonergic, despite a more appreciable effect on NE relative to Effexor. I'll tell you what, though. If the reports here are reflective of the general population, Cymbalta might have greater anti-anxiety properties than the others.

No, they do not cancel each other out. It was determined four years ago that adrafinil and modafinil do NOT bind to NE-alpha receptors.
