> Hi cubbybear. Sorry to go off topid for a second, but was just wondering how restrictive you found the diet over your 20 years? I'm thinking very hard about whether I want to start parnate or not. Thanks, John :)
The only diet restriction that got in the way of my pleasure was cheese. I had to make the sacrifice--would rather live without cheese for 20 years than have 1 day of depression. Then I learned last year that after all this time, the restrictions were nowhere as restrictive as I was led to believe, and I was ecstatic to hear that mozzarella cheese and pizza was safe. I myself can attest to that now.
My big problem or potential problem is not the diet restrictions, but the limitations on anaesthesia and pain killers. I'm 55 now and hope that I never get into a situation calling for either of these, such as emergency surgery.
In my opinion, people spend too much time crying and moaning about the diet restrictions, when they should really learn all about the potential drug interactions. Severe pain and anaesthesia can happen to anybody.
