is it possible to turn someone from yellow to blue

Posted by lostforwards on October 29, 2004, at 8:55:00

I've read about depression being related to upregulation of receptors. Durring stress dopamine gets converted into norepinephrine, and the brain has to compensate by increasing the amount of dopamine, right? So what happens if you artificially, using drugs, dramatically lower levels of dopamine for a period of, say two weeks. Would the effect be the same as actue stress? Would it turn someone from 'yellow' to 'blue'? Is it reversible?
