social anxiety -dopamine/NA

Posted by sabre on October 29, 2004, at 1:47:32

Hello
A few studies I have looked at mention that deficiencies of dopamine and NA may be implicated in social anxiety.

If this is so, why aren't more people helped by Wellbutrin? Or do some people use it successfully for this problem?

Some posts discuss that it causes heightened anxiety. If you took it with a benzo for a while, can you get through this phase or doesn't the agitation go away?

Does it affect the git system?

Is its anxiety provoking nature dose dependant?
Thanks
sabre
