You can have PTSD at any age. It will last as long as it wants. I've had mine since I was 19, now I'm 28. There are different deffinitions too. For example in the USA, PTSD is defined as witnessing a death. In other countries(most), PTSD can be any tramatic experience, like rape for example. How ever long you experience stress related to the experience, beyond the reasonably expected simptoms of plain stress, is PTSD. Basicly any lingering stress is the disorder.

Most likely they will change as you get older.
