Can higher doses of Lamictal intensify depression?

It seems like I'm more "sad" and "doomsday" feeling on Lamictal at 150mg than 100mg?

I've been at 150mg for about two weeks and didn't know if that was long enough at this dose before dropping back to 100mg.

My fear in going up to 200mg versus dropping back to 100mg is that this "sad" feeling will get worse instead of better, I guess more is not always better.

Any input would be appreciated.
