Dr Liebowitz and A typical Meds

Has anyone gone to Dr Liebowitz in NY. I live in NY and wanted to know if it is worth it to see him. He is very expensive. I am trying to find a Antidepressant that works like Nardil but is not nardil. I have tried Nardil but got such bad edema and Nausea that I had to stop it. I am on Zoloft and Lamicatal. The Lamictal helps some with energy and mood and concentration but makes me anxious. I also noticed and I dont know if anyone else has experienced this but I got discoloration on my face from the Zoloft and noticed hair thinning.
If anyone can shed some experience on things that have helped them that would be great. My current doctor talked to me about DHEA and Trileptal. I just dont think all of these things really hit the A Typical depression problem. Your imput is appreciated!
