Effexor Side effects

I have been put on Effexor to treat my anxiety. I started taking the 37.5mg pills. The doctor had me stop because I came down with some sort of stomach virus. After the virus, I continued with three more 37.5mg pills. Now I am on the second day of the 75mg pills. I get very nauseous at times. Could this just be my body adjusting to the medication. If anyone could let me know, it would be greatlt appreciated.
