I think what we're seeing now is a backlash. It's probably to be expected after the initial high expectations. At first it seemed as if most of the reports were overwhelmingly positive. Then the negative ones came and the side effect issues came front center. Everyone seemed to be dumping on Cymbalta and forgetting that there had been some very positive experiences reported here as well. I think that those who have had really good experiences tend not to continue to post about it while those experiencing problems and looking for more support, are apt to post more often. Yesterday and today I've just read 3 or 4 positive reviews again so I think things are starting to even out to a more realistic level. It's not going to be the drug for everyone, unfortunately, but hopefully time will show that it's another option that can help a significant amount of people now and in the future.
