the sweating definitely wanes. I didn't really experience it acutely at start-up. However, I have noticed feeling less body warmth as an effect of the drug. in a meta-analysis of all the cymbalta drug trials, for the adverse effect of increased sweating, it went from 11.8% reporting this problem for weeks 1-8, to only 4.3% for weeks 9-52. And most of the study subjects actually had higher doses of 80-120 mg. So I think it's safe to say that the effect will definitely decrease somewhat as the weeks pass.
