Zoloft may not be the best choice for you, then. Some of the SSRIs are more activating than others, and I found Zoloft to be too stimulating for me -- made worse by the fact that Dr EyeCandy had me taking it at night. (The benefit of taking it at night, though, was that -- with the help of 3 to 4 mg Xanax for sleep -- I slept through the akathisia, for the most part...)

Check this out with your doctor. Some of the other SSRIs tend to be more sedating, or at least less activating. Maybe one of them would be a better choice for you. You could also ask about a low dose of a beta blocker to help control the anxiety.
