Not entirely absent for me, but much better

I've been taking Cymbalta now for five and a half weeks, and I did experience complete anorgasmia for a while. Now, though, it's still more difficult to climax, but I can usually manage. So, it's not as bad as Effexor or Paxil were for me.

There's more you should know, though, before you take me as any sort of a gauge: I have no libido right now, because of the depression which is still not in remission. The times I've tried this, it's not been desire that prompts the exercise, but either curiousity -- about whether or not I'm experiencing sexual side effects -- or the sort of restless tension that can sometimes be relieved that way.

From what I've experienced so far, though, I suspect that if I were actually feeling desire, and was with a partner, I'd be able to reach a climax without undue effort.

For what it's worth, when I was taking Effexor and Prozac, cyproheptidine reliably counteracted the sexual side effects.
