Well gosh darn it my meds seem to be helping...

Posted by alexandra_k on September 30, 2004, at 21:38:18

After all my prostestations that they weren't helpful and that my taking them seemed to make my p-doc happier than me I have come to a realisation:

I actually feel better when I take them.

I am supposed to take effexor and olanzapine, but have been fairly blaze about taking them regularly. But I can pinpoint 2 weeks in hospital - on them and doing ok. Two weeks off them - out of hospital and SPINNING OUT. Two weeks on them again - and I feel good!

I don't want to rule out psychological factors and the progress I am making with my new T of course, but I think my meds are actually helping me.

I don't know how I feel about that. I have never thought they helped before... But now I am wondering will I have to take them forever?
