I am very happy with Lexapro. I have unipolar depression and Lexapro took care of that after 45 days. It is 4 months later and I am still depresssion free. Please give Lex at least 6 or 7 weeks before you give up on it. Lex has been an excellent AD for me. The only side effect is insomnia for which I take either benadryl or Serouqel. I had anxiety along with the depression. The headaches will subside. I no longer have headaches from taking Lex.
FST> Hi everyone, I am taking lexapro for panic attacks.I also take imipramine. I was on xanax but my doc changed me to klonopin. Well I was taking 10 mgs. of lexapro but still having a bit of panic, so she increased it to 15 mgs. It is now day 6 of 15 mgs. of lexapro. Feel more panic in my head. Bit agoraphobic. Klonopin has relaxed my body but doesn't seem to stop the panic so much in my head. Doc told me to wait 2 weeks to feel better. Has anyone else had this problem? Does the panic go away? I am so sick of it. Plus I have a headache from the lexapro. Appreciate any advise. Thanks
