the prescriptions here in az are good for one year from the date the doctor writes it. Don't know if that is the same everywhere. Assuming it is, if you had your doctor write you an rx for a three month supply of your drugs with three refills at the same you would have a years worth of meds on one rx. You could take the original rx paper with you, which you might prefer to do if there are insurance coverage issues.
Another option is if you use Walgreens or another drugstore that is linked by computers. So if you are in Florida, they can just access your prescriptions from wherever your hometown is and fill them for you in Florida. Does that make sense? Ideally it should be the same chain drugstore in each town...a Walgreens to Walgreens or x to x.
