Have been on Lexapro for nearly 4 months, currently at 30mg, started at 10mg. Lex kicked in at 45 days and I have been unipolar depression free ever since. First 2 to 3 weeks were not pleasant for me. I just wanted to sleep because I felt so fatigued. After 3 weeks, although the sleepiness went I away, I started having insomnia as well as the fatigue. Fatigue has lessen but is still noticeable, however, I am happy because I am depression free. I have been taken ADs for 12 years and was on Prozac for 7 years. I have taken Zoloft, Paxil, Effexor, Celexa,Lamictal, Remeron, Elavil, Lithium, Desipramine, Wellbutrin and Nardil. Currently, all I am taking is Lexapro for my depression. I am taking Seroquel for my insomnia. Lexapro is an excellent AD for me.
