I had some of the same issues with disruptive dreams during my Nardil withdrawal while tapering down from seven pills per day (105 mg) to zero, dropping one pill every three days. I believe this is what they call REM Rebound Syndrome, and I found it to be rather unpleasant. I never have nightmares normally and do recall actually yelling out and punching at the air a few times. Fortunately, it lasted for me less than a week.Best of luck, whatever you decide.
