Hi Shyla:
As a matter of fact, there are lots of times on this board that people share their successes.
They may not do it in a direct manner Like "Hey everyone, I'm doing great now and this is how I did it!". It's more in the form of answering someone else' query on meds or situation, a kinda "Well this worked for me" advice thing. Which is a success. I guess the board is more of a sharing experiences and support/advice kinda place.
I have noticed though, that just lately, a lot of unhappy/negative things are happening to posters, all at once. Or med troubles are dominating. Your timing may have given you your impression!
It might help people in general, if success stories are posted as such...to give hope/ideas to others.
Please delve into all the threads though, because a thread that sounds negative, can reveal some great success stories in respondents.
As for me, I have severe GAD, that sometimes has depressive spells, depending upon how much stress I'm under. I often stay away from here if I'm very stressed! I don't like to dwell on it.
However, right now I'm doing well on a combo of 10mg Celexa, .5mg Klonopin (more Klon, as needed due to circumstances, if nec.). I've tried 8 different meds over 3-4 years. This combo is the best so far. I've been on Celexa in the past with sexual S.E's which are beginning to return, but my pdoc plans on adding Wellbutrin. So that's my success story!!! And I'm hoping it will get even better!
Regards,
Jas
