I am currently taking 2mg cloazepam plus Remeron at night to help me sleep, but this does not always do the trick. It seems as if I have become more and more sensitive to pain and sleep deprivation with each passing year. I know there is a direct correlation between how well I sleep and how well I feel the next day. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...I feel like asking my pdoc for a huge dose of morphine!

This is just a guess but are you on any SSRI? When I was on Prozac (same thing with several other SSRIs) I had severe pain in my neck and shoulders. I also had insomnia nad the worse I slept, the worse the pain would be. When I would get off the SSRI the pain would get about 70 per cent better within a week.
