Mifepristone and CRF Antagonists Trials in UK info

Posted by Denise1904 on September 6, 2004, at 7:07:48

Hi,

I don't know if anyone is interested but I spoke to Proffessor Allan Young at Newcastle University and wrote to him about the trials they did with mifepristone on psychotic depression and expressing an interest in any other trials.

He sent me a note saying they are going to be doing follow up trials on Manic Depression and if I was interested send details of my postage address to <peter.gallagher@ncl.ac.uk>. As I don't suffer from manic depression he also told me that he has a colleague in Oxford who will be doing trials on a similar type of medicine for non-bipolar depression and that might be the next step. So if anyone is interested this might be worth bearing in mind.

Let me know if you are and I'll see if I can find out any more details.

Denise
