hello there, chemist here....you tried dilantin, a rather side-effect prone older anticonvulsant/antiarrhythmic...perhaps the sedation on the physical end of things alleviated your anxiety, i don't know. do be careful with it, and with the phenobarbital especially...and be sure to talk to a doctor about all of this, as you might well find that a more effective AED could be of use for you....all the best, chemist
