That's how Neurontin's worked for me too. Helps a lot at first w. anxiety and a bit w. depression, then after about 6-8 months it stops working.

1st time this happened, I upped my dose from 300 to 400 mg./day, which restored effectiveness for about 3-4 months. At this point, I feel like it's doing nothing.

Have tried stopping it, and get heighened anxiety for a bit (not even close to benzo withdrawal - unpleasant, nevertheless).

My pdoc wants me on it still, so I'm deferring to his judgement for now.
