What's the word on LIBRIUM?

Posted by anxiety_free on August 13, 2004, at 22:58:22

Hey! I take a tricyclic, a stimulant, and klonopin and propranolol daily. Overall, I feel good. But there are times when I'm consumed with anxiety or rage or frustration, an the klonopin just doesn't calm me enough to let me be productive and focused. I've talked to my shrink about it...he thinks maybe an add-on as needed tranquilizer would help. I've read that higher doses of librium are used for SERIOUS anxiety, etc., so I was curious to see if anyone had tried i. If not libium, what could I try? My shrink says xanax might be the way to go, but I don't really like it. thanks in advance!
