Coming off of ANTICONVULSANTS! - your experiences!

Hi All,
I'd like to find out your experiences with coming off of anticonvulsants. I take lamictal and trileptal and effexor. But I'm not convinced at all that I'm Bipolar II. I think I have depression with PTSD, mainly because I've never really had a manic episode. I take 300 lamictal and 1800 trileptal.
My previous Pdoc was the one who diagnosed me with BPII, but he was an awful Pdoc - he was the one who betrayed my confidentiality. When I initially came in to see him I was a bit agitated but then again, I was taking wellbutrin at the time, which makes me agitated. So I'm going to talk to my new one on Thursday about coming off of them, but I'd like to hear your experiences and know what I'm in for.
