Atenolol (Tenormin) - side effects

I have taken atenolol 50mg to prevent panic attacks. I had headache and orthostatic hypotension for more than one week after discontinue taking
atenolol. I never had such long lasting sideeffects with other betablockers.

Everybody else with similar experience?
