Have you tried other long acting/time release stimulants like Concerta? Sounds like the adderall helped. Dexadrine is similar to adderall which is already fairly long acting.

Most people feel drowsy or grumpy coming off a stimulant and perhaps anxious while on it. Some people take a short acting ritalin in the afternoon or even at bed time to get through that.

Wellbutrin is much milder than the 'real' stimulants but in combination may work for you.
