In reply to is LAMICTAL activating or sedating + headaches, posted by bipolarspectrum on July 27, 2004, at 18:55:07

For me, headaches went away on Lamictal. It tends to be the more activating of the anti-convulsants yet I felt fatigued/weak much of the time while I was on 150mgs. Went off for a while and am now starting back on (at square one..again) 25mgs. I Just don't seem to be able to tolerate the others: depakote, lithium, etc.
