It's interesting that you get depressed on the weekends. Maybe it has to do with surviving the week and crashing on the weekends. I have a similar pattern and find that usually on Saturday or Sunday I tend to crash and spend the day on the couch watching movies or something like that. I'm trying to train my mind to see Saturday and Sunday just like any other day, so that I don't do that because it seems counterproductive and an indulgence of sorts. But there is a historical basis for having one day of rest!
