hello there, chemist here...i have not heard of hallucinations associated with the 3 meds you mention and thus cannot comment (except zolpidem, which i used on and off for several years with excellent results). if benzos are out of the question, look into trazodone and/or a low does of seroquel (25 to 50 mg prn hs). buspar, in my experience and opinion, is not a very effective drug, although others seem to benefit. i would say that buspar is likely to be effective in general anxiety - if at all - and will not be an effective sleep aid. all the best, chemist
