I know that switching off of some AD's is rough for a week or 2. I don't know about Serzone.

I have read posts of people who ease the problem of Effexor withdrawal by taking Prozac. Maybe you should ask your doctor about taking Prozac while gradually getting off of Serzone.

Hopefully Serzone will not be discontinued.

> Hi, I am 7 year user of Serzone, my Question is if I switch to Effexor or something, will it Ease the withdrawal of cutting down the Serzone ? I know from experiece and talking to others the withdrawal and reduction is just plain hell without any other Med to Substitue. PLEASE someone I am getting more scared by the day thinking "WHAT IF" they ban it alltogether. Be truthful with me, am I in for a rough road even switching should I get off of Nefazodone after 7 years ? Let me know please, with BRUTE Honesty.
