I'm on 450mg for ADD, and I can attest to the fact that it's been useful to me. I'm sure it's nowhere near the efect of amphetamines, but it's also more even, without a late-day crash.
Mainly, it makes me feel awake and clear-headed. Before I started on it, I had gotten to the point that I was so fuzzy headed I had to occasionally stop and think about where I was and what I was doing (whuh?). Sort of like after taking a few cold pills. The WB blew the fog off my brain, which allowed me to string more than 2 thoughts together, an important ability.
