Lasik eye surgery and meds

I am currently taking Lexapro (20mg) and Provigil (100mg) and have been on them for about 8 weeks. I've noticed my eyesight is strange sometimes. It's hard to focus or I just can't see clearly even when I have my contact lenses in.
I was planning on having Lasik surgery this summer for my nearsightedness and was wondering if the Lexapro would effect it. I'd rather not ask my eye doctor (he's a friend).
Has anyone had the surgery while on Lexapro or any other medication? Or does anyone know if it would have anything to do with it?
