If you ever happen to find anything that helps you to have an orgasm on Nardil, please let me know because i have the same problem (Nardil, 60mg, ten months). i'll be sure to do the same if i find anything that is helpful at all. So far i've tried cyproheptadine (antihistamine and serotonin 2 antagonist- did not really help and left me horribly tired and feeling cruddy the whole next day), amantadine (a dopaminergic and NMDA antagonist- had a significantly negative effect on my mood, increased my anxiety, and did not really help all that much), and occasional low doses of methylphenidate (Ritalin) (psychostimulant- helped with libido, desire, and psychological reward, but did not seem to directly help my difficulty in obtaining an orgasm). These are options you probably want to consider, however, because they may work better for you and the side effects may not be as severe or bothersome for you. Also, Wellbutrin and Remeron, used cautiously, may offer some benefit (although for me these were also worthless-- only tried them on Paxil but still-- Remeron made me far too zombified & exhausted, and did not help; Wellbutrin made me far too anxious and nervous, and did not help).

> My next trial will be with the dopamine agonist bromocriptine. i'm trying to stay open-minded, but i don't think this will be successful, especially judging from my trial with amantadine. i'm worried, too, since my pdoc seemed to suggest that this is the last thing i would be able to try ("there is one more thing we can try...").

Thanks for your input, Questionmark. A real bugger, isn't it?I'd be interested to know what the "one more thing we can try" is! Although, if you 'smoke it', then I'm affraid I gave THAT up. Wasn't good for my Social Phobia.
I'm going to try an antihistamine next. I think it will be the cyproheptadine that you've already tried. Fingers crossed!
I have read about yohimbine from the herb Yohimbe. It's not available here in the UK, but I might order some from the US, once I've checked out the compatibility with Nardil, of course. I think that herbal remedies may well be worth a try if nothing else works. Ginseng and Damiana come to mind.
