Hi Todd.
> Yes, some of the withdrawal symptoms can linger for weeks, but the first week was always the worst for me. Sometimes I wondered if all of the withdrawal symptoms were ever going to go away, but they always did. I don't recall anything ever lasting much longer than about two or three months, and those were very weak aftereffects.
I still find it difficult to believe that the withdrawal effects resulting from the discontinuation of Effexor can last for so long. I believe they do because so many believable people say they do. It is a horrible thing to have to endure for so long. It is a foreign experience to me, though, and I have been on and off Effexor three or four times.
What were the withdrawal symptoms that lingered beyond the first week after the last dose?
Thanks.
- Scott
