Getting off Effexor success story (so far)

Posted by catachrest on June 25, 2004, at 9:37:08

Just so as to provide a positive story for those about to try weaning off, I've been weaning off for the last few months - had gotten as high as 150, spent 2 months at 112.5, now am finishing my first month back at 75. So far I'm feeling on the whole no different. I've had a few days of bizarre exhaustion, where I felt I just couldn't get out of bed, but they have been few, and these have been my only symptoms that I've noticed, and they're really not so bad, if you have an understanding employer. I'm looking forward to the next step down to 37.5 and then - freedom!

Take courage!
Susan
