Yikes and I start Adderall tomorrow. But I will be using the XR version. Is that what you were on ?

Ultimately I became pretty immune to the adderall and kept increasing amounts which is not too safe...but the thing is, the adderall made me feel so anxiety ridden and anxious when I was "coming down." Like I was in this happy little world when I was on it but when it wore off I was scatterbrained - worse than before. I also picked up a social anxiety disorder which I never, ever had issues with before.

That wonderful tingly belly - euphoric feeling you first get after you take it will stop after a while but increasing the dose perscribed leads to worse things, I think.

Hopefully though, you can nip this in the bud w/ your doc. before it can get worse. I just have really mixed feelings about the stuff. I feel so much better in general now - my sex drive has even made a guest appearance and I'm not so anxious, but at the same time I crave the adderall because it gave me focus and almost purpose.

I hope I am not scaring you - I just wanted you to know that I understand how scary it can be - these drugs have so many freaky side effects that it's hard to know what is you and what is the drug. One last thing - the movie "Requeium (sp?) for a Dream" deals w/ an amphetamine very similar to adderall - however it is a really scary movie so only check it out if you decide to say nay to the stuff.
