I was on Ativan for 10 years. The switched me to Lexapro, depakote, and zyprexa. I felt fine on the Ativan, although the withdrawals were hell. The Lexapro, depakote, and zyprexa have been a bad experience. I am always fogged up and spaced out. I want off those for sure. My instinct is to go back to the ativan. However, I was thinking about trying the natural approach first or in conjunction with ativan. My fear with the ativan is being able to find a doctor that will willingly prescribe it long term.
