going off meds then back on same ones??

its been 2 weeks so far since i re-started them -my pdoc is saying it usually takes 3-4 weeks for them to work, but i know everyone is different so it could take more or less time. will it take just as long for the meds to work even though i've been on them before? could it take longer for them to work?
