to those who've used Focalin and Ritalin

Hi,
I'm just curious about the experiences of those who switched to Focalin from Ritalin.
1. Did it last longer than Ritalin?
2. Were there any side effects not noticed on Ritalin?
3. Is it better than Ritalin (in your opinion)?
4. Did it start working faster than Ritalin or did it fade away more slowly than Ritalin? Basically I mean, is Focalin a "smoother" medication- no sharp ups and downs?
Any experiences, info, thoughts, whatever would be appreciated.
