> Adderall helps with my chronic fatigue (bedridden for 5 months) but the effects wear off about 5-6hrs later. This is the XR too. I experience terrible depression. I do not have ADHD. Ritalin and Provigil gave me the same downward spiraling mood to a lesser extent. Xanax isn't helping much. I have Klonopin but it takes so long to start working. Should I take the Klon at the same time as the AdderallXR? I don't know if .5 mg or even .1 of Klon would help. Any advice appreciated.

What you are experiencing may be the rebound depression that stimulants can induce after they have worn off. This is one of the major factors that can lead to their abuse and necessitates their classification as Schedule II controlled substances. I would suggest trying a different class of med for your chronic fatigue, such as an activating antidepressant. These are not as powerful as the amphetamines but are better antidepressants and do not have the abuse potential of the stimulants. I would suggest these as ones to consider (recognizing you may have already tried one or more of them):

SSRI: Prozac

tricyclics: desipramine, Vivactil

MAOI: Parnate
