GABITRIL. how does it work?

Hi. I am confused about how Gabitril works and I cannot find the info anywhere. Does it take a while to fully kick in like an ssri or is it more immediate action like valium, xanax, klonopin?
i don't understand whether over time it inhibits gaba reuptake even more then just after one dose?
i guess, my question is, does it take time to reach a steady state or start to fully exert its influence on your brain?
