> Hey, anyone out there have GI problems with Lamictal? At 125 mg, I couldn't process fats properly and if I ate something even moderately rich, would end up in cold sweats at 3am, vomiting and diarrhea. Asked my pdoc to drop the med, but she asked me to stick with it, because it was helping my moods dramatically. After a horrible winter, she finally convinced me to up the dose to 150. After two false starts filled with bloating, I finally snuck up on it slowly. Psychologically, doing great. But pretty much ever since then, I've had diarrhea every single morning, couple bouts each day. Been almost three months. This cannot be good. My internist doesn't want me to undergo tests until I've cut back on the Lamictal to see if it's the culprit. So any other anecdotes on this subject would be really helpful. Thanks so much.

Are you taking any AD's? If Lamictal is all good except for GI problems you might consider adding some low dose amitriptyline to balance the GI problems.
