I too was on zoloft,it did a serviceable job than I heard from a doctor who was treating me for knee injury and he asked me whether I was on any medication that might interact with the pain killers.I told him I was on Zoloft and then he went on how Lexapro was the best anti-depressant ever to come out and was explaining the benefits of its unique isomer blah blah blah!!!
When I went to my pdoc and told him to change me to Lexapro to my suprise he was excited.
well i tried it over 3months and not only was i irretable, emotional, tired all the time when i was making love to my girlfriend it took forever to climax and most times i was too tired to continue, its fustrating. My advice for what its worth go back to the old and tested SSRI like Zoloft or Prozac.I swirched to prozac and I am happy with it.But Zoloft like I said was pretty good for me.Next time a new drug comes along I will wait a few years to see whether it builds a good track record.Good luck with it
