If you are cutting back, I think going from 50 to 25 would be the prudent thing to do, but I would still suggest discussing this with your pdoc first. My own experience with Zoloft and Effexor was that I never suffered any withdrawal symptoms on Zoloft regardless of whether or not I tapered, and I always suffered withdrawal symptoms on Effexor regardless of whether I tapered or not.
