Hi Panda,

My pdoc has prescribed 500 mg x 2 per day of metformin (glucophage) for me to counteract the effects of the zyprexa weight gain. Apparantly, zyprexa raises insulin levels and and increases appetite/carb cravings so it is supposed to help in that area. I have noticed some dizziness with it but I thought that was due my withdrawal from prozac.

Make sure to take it with food and drink lots of water while on it.
