Bristol-Myers Squibb has announced it will take Serzone off the market in the US, effective June 14. Serzone has been linked to a remote risk of liver failure, involving 20 deaths worldwide. The drug has been pulled from Europe and Canada and will be withdrawn from New Zealand and Australia.
