Cylert (pemoline) is a weak stimulant compared to Adderall or Ritalin and is only a Schedule IV controlled substance, whereas the other two are Schedule II. It doesn't seem to be used much anymore because while it has less abuse/dependency potential than the Schedule II stimulants, it is also less effective and can cause liver failure; although, this is apparently relatively rare.Todd
