is caffine bad with Zoloft?

Posted by SDA on May 18, 2004, at 14:32:47

I'm on 50mg of Zoloft right now. It seems as if caffine is effecting me in a different way lately. Normally it has little effect other than keeping me awake, but now it seems to be making it more difficult to think and may be aggrivating the head fuzziness that's been happening lately.

The first time I noticed this was after having a cup of coffee (and haven't had any since). I just had some iced tea; I thought that would be a relatively modest amount of caffine, but started having these problems shortly afterward.

I stepped down from 75mg of Zoloft to 50mg a little over a week ago if that makes any difference. My main concern is that I will be starting Focalin in a day or two, and am worried that it will have a simmilar effect, if not worse.
