I tried Effexor for my anxiety once and wish i never did--it made my anxiety 100 times worse and that worsened anxiety never seemed to go away, i still have it. I think it just totally messed up the chemicals in my head. Why the heck would the FDA prescribe this crazy drug for any anxiety disorder? - it might help some people but damn---im sorry i tried it and sure there are others out there---speak up against effexor

> hello there, chemist here... the FDA did not prescribe effexor to you: your doctor did. you took it as per your doctor's orders. you state that you took it ``once:'' you really mean you ingested effexor *one* time and are in such misery? please inform of course of action of medication, as your post more than insinuates that a one-time dosing of effexor leads to a miserable after-life.....all the best, chemist
Well what I meant is that I took it at one time for about 4 weeks, not just one pill. It might work will for others for anxiety, but for me it made it worse. The reason for this thread is that I wanted to see if there was anyone who takes or took effexor that made their anxiety alot worse. No offense to anyone taking this durg. This drug could be a godsend for some -- including my mother in law.
