finally got xanax! now......

My doctor finally gave me Xanax XR for my social anxiety. I'm starting out on 2MG per day, but for my first day it almost seemed like it could be more. Is it something that will take a few days, or if it didnt seem enough on the first, does that automatically mean i'll need a little more?
